Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) reported as many a s136,000 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli occupation forces since Nakba Day on 1948.

The Organization of Islamic Organization has marked the World Refugee Day stressing that helping the refugees as both a humanitarian and Islamic obligation.

The Special Representative of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Afghanistan said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran bears the heaviest burden of refugees in accordance with Islamic, humane standards and by preserving interests among the countries of the region."
